'Romeo and Juliet', Blackie & Sons - a clean and concise little booklet, slightly bowdlerised ( pencil note on title page reflects that a rude joke @1.3.106 has been cut.) I checked elsewhere and it's a classic panto double - entendre bomb. Made me laugh! 

 'Macbeth', Hardback, 1927 reprint of 1921. J M Dent pub, Norman Hepple MA Mlit ed., with dedication to pupils fallen in the great War, a note on Scots history and an Acting Appendix by Evelyn Smith. A good and honest reflection of how it was done in the 1920s. 
Great for any director wanting to do Shakespeare in 20s period style! 

 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', Blackie & Sons. Very dirty cloth cover, but complete, this Bowdlerised Junior Schools edition is undated, but looks to be around 1900 on good quality paper. Introduction, Notes & list of "Passages to be Learnt" by W F Bagust.
