Rummij was founded on the strong environmental belief that re-use is considerably more sustainable than the manufacture of new goods in almost all cases. By making it easier and more convenient to pass unwanted items along to the next owner we reduce the overall carbon impact of all of our users.

We also recognize our responsibility as a business to protect the environment and are committed to reducing our own environmental footprint. Our policy focuses on the following areas:

• Energy Efficiency: Implementing energy-saving practices in our operations, especially with regards to compute resources and model training.
• Waste Management: Reducing, reusing, and recycling waste wherever possible, including but not limited to sustainable and/or zero-packaging postal services where available
• Pollution Prevention through Sustainable Sourcing: Reducing emissions and pollutants associated with our activities by prioritizing environmentally friendly suppliers and materials where those options are available, including choice of cloud technologies.
